EA Sports UFC 3 Standup Controls (Confirmed)

L1/LB technique modifier
L2/LT body modifier
R1/RB signature modifier (or you could think of it as another technique modifier)
R2/RT high block/elbow/knee modifier
R2/RT + L2/LT low block
L2/LT + right sticks towards/away for takedowns
L2/LT + right sticks up/down for clinch attempts
Face buttons - jab , straight , leg kicks
L1/LB+ face buttons - Hooks - Head kicks
Square+X/triangle+O - Uppercuts
R2+face buttons = knees or elbows
Double flick and hold forward - Sprint
Left stick - footwork/movement
Right stick - head movement

If i'm right, the punches are now the same layout as FNC, so on PS4 Square and Triangle will be jabs/straights while X and Circle are hooks, Square + X as well as Triangle + Circle are uppercuts.

If i'm crazy wrong, feel free to correct me.

No You’re right on that.
Left sticks movement entirely
Right stick is head movement entirely
Stance switching is the right stick clicked

No info on shoulder buttons yet but if it’s anything like ufc2 shoulder buttons I’m guessing

R2/RB block with the right stick changing the high and low

Only thing is initiating clinch. So what I thought it was gonna be was the L3 is stance switch n the R3 was clinch but they’ve already said R3 is stance switch

Makes sense , but what about kicks? And modifiers? Leg kicks , body kicks , headkicks ? Etc.

That pretty much makes sense , i was thinking they might have to remove low block just to use r2 for kicks but the r2+ right stick high and low theory is pretty genius man
