UFC 2 beta would continue to crash launching the title on Xbox. If you copied the beta to an external hd and launched on a different console after they flipped the switch, you could get it to run after 2 or 3 loading screen crashes.

Does the beta require you be online to play the offline portion? If not you could just not go online and the beta will never update as being over so you can continue to play.

I believe in the small print of the sign up it may have stated "persistent online connection required" it is a beta to gather info after all
