I never understood what's the reasoning behind doing it like this? Does anyone like that? Why not have fighters simply go ragdoll once they're out instead of stretching their arms out like they're about to do a mo-cap session?
It's yet another thing that keeps me away from going to the ground and especially never wanting to finish a fight on the ground because every finish feels like I'm robbed of a finish. I used to love GnP'ing opponents in every Undisputed game, I wish it felt realistic/satisfying in EA UFC too because it's a big problem in my opinion and despite not expecting much from UFC 3 after the disappointment of 1 and 2, I actually allowed myself to believe that at least the ground finishes will be somehow improved, so I'd love to know if there's a chance that any type of ground finishes (preferably GnP) will be tuned in future updates?
Perhaps in addition to ragdoll physics, increase the GnP striking speed and reduce the power? Currently the only strikes I actually enjoy landing on the ground are elbows, and they feel way better than they did in the previous two games even though they were already the best feeling ground strikes so good on that, but what about other strikes? I hate to keep comparing to Undisputed (I WISH I didn't have to, believe me guys) but literally every ground strike in Undisputed felt so ******* good that it made me always want to fight as ground strikers in that game.
Look at how the strikes have real physics and weight to them in this clip for example https://youtu.be/DY8J9mq4CRU?t=420
Bonus Pride vid just because I stumbled upon it

I fully understand that the focus for EA UFC 3 was the striking, as it should have been, but the ground striking (and submissions) have been something that the community hasn't been happy with since EA UFC 1 and has never seen any improvement at all which is why I actually did expect at least some polishing to be done with current animations.
Perhaps it's possible to make the same strike animations push the opponents heads back so it's visible there's an impact in addition to ragdoll coming into play after the KO? Basically exactly what THQ did?
