It probably has quite a lot to do with it, like, that's a real two-true-outcome fight. Either McGregor manages to keep it on the feet and KOs Khabib, or Khabib can keep a hold of him and smeshes him on the ground.

Ever been in a crucifix in real life? It's not a position you want you be in - ever.

Should be a strong position, should be deadly. As far as Khabib - that's him doing what he does. When you're going against a Khabib user you should be working to maintain distance and actively defend the clinch/takedown.

I actually just tried it out myself. I fought a Conor as Khabib and there was absolutely nothing he could do. I was denying transitions I had no business denying. I felt bad.

Actually, yes. I've been on the receiving end of forearms while being crucifixed. I used the cage to gain leverage with my feet to get out. Another thing that should be in the game.

And I'm honestly fine with this. You know going into that fight that you're ****ed if it hits the deck, but you also know you have an advantage on the feet. Now, if Evan Dunham was doing this, then yeah, we have an issue

How often are you perfectly in position on this game to escape with cage leverage? Crucifix is supposed to be a helpless position. All you can really do is roll and pray unless you're insanely flexible.

GPD, listen to this man Lemur. He is legit. Figured out the parry head kick in EA MMA right out of the gate and has been breaking games since Undisputed 09. BTW, I'm not being sarcastic (since it seems the norm around here lately). Take it for what it's worth.

So, you're saying that after Khabib gets DU, he cn deny on reaction against transitions to both sides, while he keeps throwing baby knees to the body to keep is GA high? Hos is this different from mount tight?

And don't you gain GA while he is in the middle of throwing a knee?
