Unable to block on the ground?

I'm just trying to see if anyone has had this issue. I've had several situations where I've been taken down and my guy simply refuses to block. Not rocked or anything like that, he'll just eat punches. It's very strange.

if you just got dropped and he jumps onto you, your block may be depleted. also if you get hit and go into a stun state it can get abit messy. I agree with the stun state in ea ufc 2 was easier to manuever out off.

Hmmm. I'll pay attention to that bar. Maybe that's what it is. I got dropped from a leg kick a bit ago and couldn't block any strikes on the ground. Very unsatisfying end of the fight.

Low kick knockdowns can put you into a finish the fight sequence if the person jumps on you quick, but generally your head health will be high enough to survive. Was the low at the end of a punch combination, like 2-3 low kick, because that would explain actually getting stopped in that situation as your head health would be lower. Although personally, I think low kick knockdowns should always be the alert kind, where you jump straight into guard.

If you're talking to me, the real issue with it is the finish the fight subs, if you ever drop someone with low kicks, jump on them and you can get the single gate arm triangle, which is basically a guaranteed finish off a single low kick knockdown. Feels unintended
