Look at this fight.

- Start at 1:25, watch for about 30 seconds. - Explosive movement, powerful shots from both fighters.

- Now skip to 3:27 for another 30 seconds. - Noticeably slower punches from Manhoef and a sloppy low kick attempt from Cyborg. They're tired.

- Skip again to 8:02 - They're both drained. Cyborg staggers forward. Manhoef stumbles backwards. (neither of them are rocked, they're just tired)

Cyborg throws the slowest combination in MMA history with little to no power. Takes a deep breath, attempts to throw a lead leg rondhouse kick. Manhoef is too tired to raise his guard so it lands flush, but Cyborg was too tired to throw it with any force so it literally did nothing.

This is what fatigue is and what it does to you It needs to be represented accurately and it simply isn't right now. Which is especially weird considering the fact that EA UFC2 had some version of this already. The problem with that game was that your stamina didn't drain fast enough to reach that point in a normal fight.

I'm interested to hear your thoughts on balance with slower movement/strikes. I think there's already a big reward for someone with higher stamina and with slower movement/strikes, I think there won't be any option for the other fighter

To me, it seems like taking a well balanced equation and hard nerfing it in favor of realism. I love going for the body right now and making it way stronger seems a little crazy

UFC 2 did have this done a little better, but I feel like the effects could have been shown earlier in the stamina drain.

Yup, Melvin's a ridiculously powerful striker.

He turned into a 1st day white belt because of fatigue though. Which is the entire point.

It's a beta. Chill out.

I already said it probably doesn't slow down strikes enough.

What more do you want?

I'm really not confident about that being right. I mean, I've played as Marc D like 60% of the time and he loses so much stamina, but I can still finish fights with half the stamina my opponent has. I know I've faced some AWFUL players, but not all of them. I've had no issue with power.

Maybe it's specific strikes that lose pop or the vulnerability system needs tuning. But I've seen no difference tbh.
