I only watched the second one where Pettis started spamming cartwheel kicks to blow his stamina advantage.

The first one is an even worse example. Especially the first rock.

I'm also concerned about duck/upper being OP.

The only way the duck/upper would cause a health event, hi or low stamina, is if it caught you about to do something.

I feels like you ducked into them or got caught throwing something.

Am I wrong?

I was Conor. I think he did for the most part, yeah. But to have that little stamina.... and to be able to do that just feels so off. I mean the stamina difference is crazy but I get rock after rock more or less off of just staying in his face and duck/upper. He knees me when I have no stamina at all at one point and I just keep pushing forward like it's nothing. I just don't see how you can't say that the strikes shouldn't be that fast and powerful at that point either. I'm literally gassed.

And honestly, it's just weird that you keep letting go of block right before the uppercut lands.

Sorry, got the wrong player. That your opponent keeps letting go of block right before the uppercut lands.

Remember the shots Conor used to put Nate Diaz down in both fights at the first round when he had gas/stamina/energy? He was still able to hit Diaz in the later rounds but it had nowhere near the same effect when he was gassed out.

It's honestly very simple, you had it right in the last two games in terms of low striking power when gassed. The community asked for more striking power when you have stamina, maybe that's why you're confused.

Fighter who has strong strikes with stamina = dangerous strikes that might cause big damage.

Any fighter who is gassed out = no power behind strikes like it was in the last two.

Do what you want, it's your game and you don't owe us anything because we don't have to buy it, I'm just translating what we want just so you know. We want the game to represent the sport.
This aspect is very intentional.

The affects of stamina make it easier for you to make a mistake, and make the consequences of making a mistake bigger.

They do not eliminate any possibility you have of defending yourself.

The stamina loss in UFC 2 was WAY less than what you're seeing in UFC 3. The body strikes did way less perm stamina drain. Spamming strikes drained way less perm stamina. Wiffing strikes drained way less stamina.

If you want all those things to matter, low stamina cannot cripple you, or the game will turn into a stamina race, as opposed to a game of mixed strategies.

No, the strikes might not slow down as much as maybe they should.

But all the other stuff being said is either untrue, or needed to keep the good stuff.

UFC 2 was very homogeneous.

UFC 3 is very dynamic.

And there's a reason for that.

Are you saying it's a conspiracy? haha. I'm just guessing when he's gonna lower his guard.
