Re: Nacon Pro Controller 2 (Double Button Mapping)

I have this controller.
It allows to bind on 4 macros buttons NOT ONLY but 10-buttons Combo, it allows to bind a SERIES of buttons inputs with different frames intervals.
Not only buttons but analog sticks as well.
So it allows to make SF ultras by one button click.
Is this a honorable and sportsmanlike ? No
Is this official SONY licensed product so allowed and not restricted? Yes
Will this make you a champion? No, but it may give u some advantage VS equal opponent

Dang, I need to save for one of these! Did you use this during the beta for uppercuts, etc. , or did you just use the regular controller?

Again I want to repeat that only the rev1 controller released last December will be able to do macro. The one released in July of this year, had all of that removed.

SUGATA, Do you use this controller, because the reviews I've read about it don't really sound all too great.

I have rev 1
But i dont know that rev 2 has macros removed... could you post me a proof link?

I have not used rev 1 in beta.

The only cons of rev1:
- its wire has special port and is not durable enough (some wrote it breaks)
- M4 and M2 buttons are not responsive
- four M-buttons are paired (not separated) so you could not to press M1+M2 for ex
- touchpad does not have not tracking zone like DS4 has (for clicking touchpad w/o tracking)
- i hav not problems with triggers form and layout, but some people had

There are more sources for it but I don't really wanna go around to post them here, you are just going to have to take my word for it.

I just noticed that's PS4 only. For anyone on Xbox One, you might want to look at this one:

Power A Fusion Pro Controller for Xbox One

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8O2GFcP2fk

At about 4:45 he mentions double button mapping is possible with this too.

I'd even go further, in saying that PS4 PRO users shouldn't be allowed to play at 60fps vs 30fps online. (even if there is no difference in the responsiveness) . Let em play 60vs60 on ps4 pro vs ps4 pro users.

I'm even planning on buying a ps4 pro myself, but i still wouldn't like the idea of people fighting on different playingfields and have other factors other than skill, be important.

That's one of the reasons, i still don't like the timing based grappling transitions, as people with gaming monitors of 1ms response times + plugged in proffesional controllers, get to dominate in the ground game with the small time windows, not beause of skill, but because of faster inputs.
You do know the lowest input lag a monitor can do on consoles is 10 MS right? Lowest tv is 14 MS.

There's no display out there that has 1 MS input lag at 60hz only at 144hz and above do you get that kind of responsiveness.

Regardless you're likely running into a skill wall, I game on a 36 MS input lag OLED and routinely destroy people on the mat.
