I'm guessing they'll have the same speed. If so, if you have the MT entry, just rejoice. There wouldn't be much of a point in wanting to start at OU, if you can start at MT.

Having said that, I'd prefer if the cage MT entry had simply been entirely replaced by the OU one. I"m not a fan of the cage MT entry.

The Muay Thai cage entry should only happen if (A) the fighter has it, and (B) actually attempts it.

Like I said, I want to try and make it look better as opposed to not allowing it.
I really, really like the idea you suggested here. Especially if the back slip made us plant exactly where we were when we moved the stick (instead of having to wait for the little micro-movements caused by the left stick movement to finish).

I would also advise doing something about crouching while walking backward. I don't think it would look goofy if fighters moved their heads about 30% down while backing up, but the fact that they go into a full crouch is goofy.

I suggested this in another thread but maybe for aesthetic purposes only, you could have all the sways visually execute about 30-40% of the animation and only go to the full 100% lean once the opponent strikes and the game detects a "successful" slip.

Kind of off topic. but honestly, how often do people go into fully ducking crouches in MMA anyway? Like, pretty much never.

Have you ever seen someone duck in a full out crouch, and throw an uppercut in MMA? I honestly don't think I can think of even 1 example.. yet this is like the defacto, go-to counter punch in EA UFC.

Duck and uppercut beats everything.

Ok, so i've done some digging, and some googling. I can't find a single gif or example of anyone ducking and then throwing an uppercut in MMA.

Some uppercut examples I found

Spoiler

I honestly can't find any instance of someone ducking then throwing an uppercut out of the duck.

Ducking goes with overhands and takedowns

Ducking uppercuts is suicide because of knees, headkicks

Exactly. But this is like the go to counter in EA UFC 3 for some reason. Duck & Uppercut just crushes people in this game.

During the beta, every time someone asked for help with the striking, it was like a 90% chance, someone would tell them to just "Duck and Uppercut to counter that!"

It's weird to me, how much ducking uppercuts we see. Maybe/ hopefully that will change though as the meta settles.
