The developers really misjudged the effect of not improving presentation.

The reason we've been given is that the resources went into more important things, but the majority of comments on these new videos is how the bodies look terrible and how all the entrance and commentary assets were reused, etc.

I think they might have shot themselves in the foot by not improving this aspect of the game. The punch and kick sound effects are pretty awful. Rogan and Anik both repeat the exact same things in a two round fight and at the wrong times. Count how many times Jon Anik says, "I think he may be out", when one single punch lands.

I'm still going to enjoy the hell out of the game and my hype only died down a tad, but I think they underestimated the casual impact of putting low effort into presentation.

Yeah, this is something that won't affect me very much (I'm almost always listening to music when I play) but I can absolutely understand it bothering people and it is making the trailers/pre-release gameplay less "hype" than it would be otherwise.

I wish EA would pull out the stops like THQ did for Undisputed, or even any of their bigger sports titles. These EA UFC titles always feel like they are being done on shoestring budgets with only enough money to improve one layer of the game at a time.

Fresh coat of paint. This game does not have one. The Ngannu model is shockingly terrible. Like I don't know what you're looking at to make such a bad model of a guy who is pretty identifiable by his massive bulk. It would have been like making Brock Lesnar without the muscle.

I could live with reusing entrances if the models of the NPCs were all updated and fresh looking. They are not. And that's garbage.

As I dwell on it, it kind of makes me angry. I feel disrespected. Like they think we're stupid enough to not notice the horrible nature of this aspect.

Could you guys kindly make Ngannou's legs thicker. He has Anderson Silva style legs atm.

Also his arms & chest too. It should make him fill out his frame better:

they might save all fixes to characters and stats within the first patch update of the game, hopefully they can do Ngannou before release.
