You’d think fighters could generate more torque for strikes while standing in single collar than in side control (dom).

Players can block from single collar (unlike in side control) and therefore adding damage to strikes wouldn’t be OP. Health events from single collar would also make more sense than knockouts from side control.

At the moment, single collar is just a weird transitionary position between over-under and the Maui Thai clinch and not good for much other than takedowns. It should be more dangerous in my opinion.

Thoughts?

I have never worried my head damage in single collar because I know it would be low damage.

Same. Plus I see fighters recovering health/stamina in single collar all the time.

This shouldn’t be the case. Single collar should be more dangerous and over-under should be the only clinch relatively safe clinch position (in regard to strikes)
