Takedowns While Rocked

So I am currently finding that sometimes whilst rocked I cannot shoot for takedowns (panic wrestler, I know) my guy just seems to stand there like a statue taking fatal shots to the dome. This has cost me numerous fights at this point and is kinda frustrating.

Anyone else had this issue or is it just me?

I agree I don’t understand the logic with that as well this game just seems to be rock um Sock um robots now!

You can shoot while rocked, but the takedown input gets dropped sometimes generally so it's a really, really bad risk to take.

It's strange it's not something I do often but if I'm rocked and create a little space I go to shoot to buy some time only to find my guy just stands there doing nothing. During which time my opponent has closed the space and is throwing infinate 1-2's

The TD input can't be buffered, unfortunately. I guess it's getting dropped when you try to shoot while still in the big hit stun animation from being rocked.

Is this the same with sways? I try to sway so often and end up just holding the stick and not moving.
