I know it's hard to come to terms with, but perhaps this is the most realistic MMA game ever made in the eyes of many people who don't share your feelings on the game.

There's nothing wrong with disliking the game.

If you dislike it then you have every right to be disappointed.

But you don't speak for everyone.
No one said I speak for everyone. But I do believe I'm in the majority. If you don't believe me make a poll and simply ask did the game live up to the expectations and hype that we set for it? Is it the most realistic MMA game ever? If I'm in the minority, cool, but I bet I wouldn't be.

So are you telling me this game is basically only tuned based on crowdsourced data? There is no design manager and the only goal is to take all players inputs and average them? Poll all players and pick the highest answer as the official design? Design by committee just ensures that everything will end up average and dull. Actually that's exactly what has happened with this series.

I just said the beta was the closest thing to a realistic MMA game ever made. Then you killed the damage and made it into a spam fest.

The damage is the same as it was in the beta.

Even body punches still have the same damage as the beta.

There was a bug with vulnerability stacking too much of you slipped a strike and countered a forward moving ducking strike that would 1pko every time.

We fixed that stacking problem.

Evil97 posted some videos of some very unstatifying 1pko wins that were a result of this bug. I challenge anyone to watch those videos and say that bug shouldn't have been fixed.

Outside of that damage hasn't been changed.

If you think Jason Nawara speaks for everyone or that his opinion is more important or valid than any of ours then I have bad news for you.

And I just looked it up, the MetaCritic User Score is currently 4.2 based on 68 Ratings. So I have to question your perception of this.

I would certainly prefer the Live Updates rather than things being unbalanced a long period of time.

FIFA and NBA2K have loads of balance issues this year that have never been corrected, similar to what UFC 2 had. Hopefully the Live Updates improve balance issues as the game moves forward.

That's even worse if true, if you find this damage system realistic and it's what you've been working with this whole dev cycle.

lmfao You JUST said that the beta was great until they changed the damage but then got told nothing with damage was changed.
