An Example Of Excessive Knockdowns In 30 Seconds

After having some proper time with the game now... Can we all agree that knockdowns happen too excessively? I think there should be more opportunities to finish or they should happen less.

What do you guys think is the best way to balance it?

Honestly, when I get knocked down like 2/3 times in a row I just stop holding block and let the guy finish it. It's such a blueballs of a moment when you're on the cusp of a K.O./T.K.O. and the game just teases you with 5 knock downs before you've done enough damage to finish.

Make vulnerability even higher and get rid of multiple knockdowns per round... maybe that will force people to finally fight clever and dont spam 100s of punches right after a rock.

Add a longer health event so when they get back up they are still rocked.

Increase damage done during a health event.

Add a mulitpier that decreases chim health greatly as well as head health.

The thing that makes it crazy is that you can hit someone with a monster shot that sends them down, but then they bounce right back up like everything is all good.

Either that rocked state should last much longer when they get back to their feet, or you should get a moment to attack them on the ground when they're hurt. It seems like the only times you can jump on a guy when he's down is when the fight is already over (finishing GNP sequence), or the guy just doesn't bother to get up. There's really not many clear the cobweb situations because of how quickly rocked states end.

This bugs me too there’s too many knockdowns and rocks before we actually get a KO or TKO, I believe they should just make severe KDS happen more often so you can finish the fight or make flash KOs happen slightly more often

If you think this is bad, try having 5 round fights vs a friend/player whos competitive w you. So many times it gets to round 4 and/or 5, we both have very little stamina, and it turns into a not so fun fight of one guy lands clean, the other guy is rocked, he recovers. He lands clean, other guy Is rocked, he recovers. You HAVE to use R1 strike modifier to have a chance of KOing the other person. Or wait til round 5 when they have literally have no stamina. It gets annoying when it happens a lot, which it has for me and a friend I played a bunch with yesterday.

Jesus that McGregor face-plant though...

Anyway, I agree more of these need to be "severe KDs" at the very least.
