I think most kicks have the same range. However, their speed matters if the opponent is moving away from them. The leg roundhouse is a bit faster than the head kick, so it's even better for chasing people.

TJ and Marlon Moraes both have a sneaky head kick you can catch guys out with, also the spinning kicks all have different timing/speed.

I think it's fine how it is, obviously on better players as with any strike.. you have to set it up.
Yeah, I mean I'm not sure which is why I'm asking. Probably just have to give it time. And even if it was a slightly dull zone in the game... It's not like a major issue or anything.

Re: Is Head Kick Range Too Predictable?

Kick strike range is generally a bit predictable in real life too. Though one thing I have thought about is when it automatically makes a mis-calculated head kick convert to a body kick. I always feel like I should be penalized somehow. Maybe it doesn't do as much damage to my opponent or something, since my original intent wasn't even a body kick. I rationalize this as my fighter adjusted his kick level mid strike, which I would think should be less effective than one with brutal intent.
