1 gate subs are dumb. (expect the FTF subs, there fine)

2 gate subs are fine.

All the rest of the sub gates that are 3,4 and 5 are perfect. Even at times they can be a lil fast for ppl escaping. Anymore of a nerf and this things are going to become worthless.

Subs are actually very easy to get out of now in online gameplay.

Do you like it that way or would you rather it be harder?
Would you rather it be pulled back some and if so would you still be okay with the 2 gate subs?

Just curious because I personally would be fine with them if the escape was slower. I know that probably sounds insane to people who want them to speed it up even further. But in my mind it should be about equal difficulty for the attacker and the defender. Since there's no way to program the nuance of actual Jiu Jitsu and when someone is more vulnerable in this position, that position, this stage of the submission, the best way to do this for me would be to pull back the sub gate speed just a bit. It's too easy to get out of a human sub attempt and too hard to secure one on a human opponent.

AI is totally different as that might not be directly related to sub gate speed and could be tied to AI stuff.

I can see why 2 gate subs shouldn't be in the game RIGHT NOW. With the stamina/sub systems the way they are.

But tweaking those systems, I don't see why a specific few subs couldn't be 2 gates. That triangle issue you brought up worries me though. That's gotta be looked at or something, feel like that could get out of control once it's found out on a large scale.

Flying submissions should not be 2 gates because of the way you get into them. Considering how wonky the clinch is already, how inconsistent denial can be when people are using transition fakes, it's just unfair to have those subs be so easy to finish.

1 gate FTF
2 gate clinch / reversal
3 gate all the rest
4-5 is gate overkill and takes up way too much game clock.

On defense, winning the submission switch attempt should be instant escape if the attacker actually goes for it.
