No jab step in jab combo

It doesn't seem like you can throw a stationary jab and then step in jab as a combo the step jab comes out much slower has anyone else noticed this?

To do combos we have to hit all the buttons in the combo before the 1st strike lands is that correct?

I feel this is also encouraging spamming its all about who hits buttons faster?

Almost all stationary strikes followed by a stepping strike dont link very well the only combo that works is straight cross followed by stepping lead hook
the jab to stepping lead hook works but its weird you gotta hit the lead hook button twice really fast to get it to work and jab to stepping jab doesn't seem to work as a combo at all

Are we sure this isn’t tied to hard combos? I haven’t played around with stationary to leaping strikes at all so I don’t know. I’ll try and test it out for you guys.

No. You can enjoy the maximum speed by making each follow up input before the current execution is finished. It doesn't have to be the full combo before the first execution is finished.

So why doesn't jab to step in jab have a combo?

I know this doesn't really matter right now because outside fighting is impossible but when we can fight outside this needs 2 be fixed
