Fighting orthodox with a southpaw fighter

Quick question. I am terrible at playing in southpaw stance. So say I want to use Darren Till who is a southpaw fighter, and switch to orthodox which is not his natural stance...is he less effective or does his stats stay the same?

Does a high "switch stance" attribute mean they switch stances faster or that they are just as effective in another stance?

Hopefully the game stays true to real life and make it so you have to play in the fighter's natural stance to make the most of them even though it would mean I cant use a lot of the fighters in the game. But I feel like some fighters should be able to switch stance and be just as effective like TJ Dillashaw and what not.

You lose power. The lower the switch stance stat, the more power you lose.
