Yep I miss the back mount form ufc 2 as well

I do agree with op but I think that mount should be way harder to get in,it is actually easy to get to mount than it its to pass full guard. Half guard top to mount top should be something like the same speed of half guard sub to backsitting

I'd agree but I also think when the bottom player puts the hand on the hip to escape half guard if timed right it should be a near instant pass for the top player to mount as they have no frames (arms to defend the pass) at that point. Or a pass to the opposite side control position.

When I take the back I let them make the first mistake I’m winning with control so they need to make the first move I deny their transitions from back flat with baby punches. Regular back mount I’ll just sit their til they move but all n all it should be way more dangerous and also you should be able to take back sitting from turtle and back mount from back sitting if I’m using Maia or Nog or any traditional BJJ guy my goal is control the back I should be able to do that and let them make mistakes and panic.

RNC should indeed be for everyone.

Backmount is laughable. You drain yourself in mere seconds trying to finish from posture up.

Yeah I hit one tonight at full stamina but man I had to get lucky. It's a bit ridiculous that it's 5 stages (same with the omoplata)

I don't mind the omoplata being hard to finish, there has only been one after all. All level 5 subs are 3 gates though (got a bunch in career), so since a 3 gate RNC is already in the game it shouldn't be too difficult to change. RDA has a 4 gate RNC currently at level 2, I think, so maybe just bump everyone's move level up?
