Since you can protect yourself from the KO by transitioning, and transitioning forces action, I think side control is in a pretty decent place in terms of balance, given the restrictions we're working under.


Being able to defend yourself with Bicep control for sub side control would be cool. It could work like the hold position in Mount.

Who cares about EA UFC 1. No one here is asking for it to be like EA UFC 1. Just would like the ability to block in side control, in which ever realistic way possible.

I mean here's another example. Oleinik even got a wrap around the top guys head and was blocking strikes from side control with his free hand, let alone with both.




On the latest patch spoiler, really glad it seems well be able to chain TDs and strikes better.

Hope this extends to lunges so we can finally strike and lunge out instead of hitting a delay because they were treated like soft combos.

Got any spoiler material to do with KOs or Finish the Fight sequences, or is that more of a main course subject?

I know what it looks like in real life. My options given the time, budget and priorities vs other things to work on is the tricky part.

I think the main change is reducing the damage. Oezdemir was really only taking superficial damage if I remember correctly, nothing overly concussive.

Slowing down the strikes is another option actually.

Any plans to incentive picking mid and low tier fighters in ranked? 90% of the roster gets ignored in online play

What division are you on? I’m on division 4 and I fought People using Volkov and Pearson last night. I saw a bunch of people relying on guys like Khabib too but I’ve seen some good variety.
