Thanks! I think they added it later. I recall it only working for the double, in UFC 2.

I started a thread on this a while back. It's absolute bull****. Just happened to me 10+ times in a fight. The meter filled ALL the way up and he still gets it. ever. single. time. It's always someone who does other fishy things too. This guy would routinely transition out of submissive positions before my meter would even start filling up, even though I preemptively held the direction during the prior animation. Broken.

Yeah that should definitely be a takedown undoubtedly - at worst it should be against the cage.

Takedowns are pretty much garbage outside of clinch. Trying to play as a grappler and setting up takedowns or shooting off kicks is pointless. Unless you get lucky and get an instant takedown, they all take a full second to fill and are super easy to deny. May as well play a striker as you have the same chance of grtting a takedown as a grappler
