Not ridiculous at all.
Really? Maybe a bad judge. People were up in arms about Anderson versus Shogun decision.

Truth is the judges are all over the place in real life.

People here want realism until realism causes them to lose.
The new judging awards dominant grappling though.

Over striking? You need to read the criteria again.

What about 3 minutes of dominant grappling over 10-20 seconds of dominant striking? (Rest of round things fairly neutral)

Not lay and pray, but throwing sub attempts and strikes?

It was a 10-8 round on two judges scorecards. He would have won in the new rules also.

Last time I checked in the game you could absolutely destroy someone on the ground the entire round and it would still be a 10-9.

I did some testing and it seems significant strikes on the ground do seem to mean a decent amount, in online competition I can't really land significant strikes on the ground, they are the easiest strikes to block.

I tried to recreate Anderson vs Shogun and in the game Corey won.

I also tried absolutely destroying an opponent on the ground and it still doesn't seem possible to 10-8. This fight was 30-27
