Body kicks getting a buff and the catch window being reduced would completely change the meta of the game for the better.

yh i agree body punches are way too risky and getting caught trying it will shave off much more stamina getting rocked then landing 1-2 body shots. The hook or upper to the body needs extra damage or stamina drain or having the vulnerability window come back.

For the 1-2 body spam apperently which i havent seen, maybe slow down the 2nd punch from the 1-2 going to the body.

Body knees are fine its easier to counter u have to mix it in well, body kicks need a buff either more damage or stamina drain from the hit or make the counter window smaller.

Works for me perfectly. Im loving this game more and more every time I play. I think you guys just gotta keep at it and eventually it will make sense for you like it makes sense to me and the devs.

Working the body --- without 1-2 cheese --- isn't extremely effective though, right? Or do you think otherwise.

I've seen people reverting back to that but haven't tried it myself. I try not to lower my style to the fromage du jour

That said I would LOVEEEEEEE for a Straight to the body (by itself) to have some legitimate stopping power. Maybe I will try to integrate that into my gameplan. Just the 2 rather than the 1-2 lol .... You do see people land that a lot in real life

Not feeling this at all. Body punches are 100% the new kid on the block again. After the nerf you had to through 75% body shots to put in enough work to notice an effect. Now with rocks taking stamina away, you can get away with ~30% body punches and end up with a huge deficit. Straight punches are what you want to mainly be throwing. You can chase people down with them and if they are aggressive you can lean out to the side and hold a lean before throwing one. Most people haven’t caught on to the fact that the counter is a hook, not an uppercut.
