Full mount back into fullmount transition

This has been in the game since UFC 2 released with the new transition mechanic, but never really gave it much thought, just avoided it. Does anyone know what the purpose of this transition is.

The one where you are on your back (full guard) and there is a transition that allows you to transition back into this very same position?

i believe that if u pull it off it increases the transition speed of the transition opposite it. So if full guard is to the right and u pull it off, the getup transition to the left is very quick. Pretty much unblockable unless the opponent knows it coming and block that direction the moment they see u twitch. i like to use it once then the next time go up instead as good players remember u used it

It gives a grapple advantage if you immediately transition again..

Full guard to standing is a momentum grapple. Too bad they are still broken.
