Prime BJ Penn - This is the only arguable guy stats wise, although what are we asking for because again, he's been surpassed in skill set.
Prime Crocop - Not with the UFC
Prime Chuck Liddell - He's strong in this game.
Prime Rampage - He's fine.
Prime Big Nog - He's actually quite well off in this game.
Prime Frank Mir - Not with the UFC
Prime Brock Lesnar - Not with the UFC (yet)
Prime Big Nog having an 85 chin is quite well off? Having a 88 leg strength despite always walking through leg kicks is quite well off?

Nogueira has only been ko'd 3 times - need I remind people that at one point he was known for his durability - it was his greatest assest.

Silva isnt retired and in fact he says he plans to continue fighting.
Penn fought within the last year and hasnt retired.
Rampage is in Bellator.
Mir, Lesnar and Cro Cop arent currently UFC fighters.

So really this thread is about two to five people?
Nothing has changed with Nog's ratings since release. Only his perks and moveset.

Big Nog won't get an update until he fights 2-3 more times.

We have to assume over the course of his 16 year professional career, he's taken enough damage plus factoring in his age to have his chin of 85. You know enough about the guy and I'm sure your own personal changes throughout the years to know nothing lasts forever.

Sure but he took 3 bombs from Roy Nelson to go out when he was "done."

Nogueira shouldn't be rated as a 41 year old - he should be rated at very least as his best UFC self around say the Randy Couture fight at UFC 102 when he was 32.

His chin should be better than an 85.

Mark Hunt has been Ko'd 5 times and has a 90 chin.

Werdum has been Ko'd 3 times and has a 90 chin.

Overeem has been Ko'd 11 times and has an 88 chin.

Nogueira has been Ko'd 3 times and has a 85 chin?

Makes zero sense especially when the guy was literally known for his trademark granite chin for the vast majority of his career.

The man has fought 46 times to Werdum's 32 and has been Ko'd the same amount of times (with 14 more fights) yet his chin is lower.

It makes ZERO sense

You guys are free to disagree. Its just my 2 cents.
The only thing I'll agree on is that active fighters should be rated as active - until they retire.

Aside from that all you're arguing for is to create a vacuum of the same 5 fighters to be selected with regularity. Why not have more viable options. Oh right because they don't want unfamiliar options to be worthy selections?

A slap in the face to true fans of the sport.
