RT Blocks punches RT+LT Kicks

If RT blocked all punches but to block effectively. you'd have to block every punch individually or you would suffer bleed through damage.LT+RT Would block all kicks

This would make it too easy to just 1 button block guys with bad kicks, like the Diaz Bros.

Use a directional blocking system like I've suggested many times. It's the best because it perfectly mimics how blocking is actually done in real life i.e. reacting to individual strikes and adjusting according to what is being thrown. High/low block is not realistic at all.

Maan i keep getting proven right about my point, on barely anobody knowing this:

https://forums.operationsports.com/f...igure-out.html

Long Story Short: A lot of people came down on me, for not knowning that the 4 strike combo, required for block piercing, had a directional logic.

I made a thread complaining about High Block being OP, then another thread, after seeing Martial Mind's video and realizing that block breaking was directional: Meaning you have to throw 3 straights + 1 round strike to pierce it or 3 round strikes + 1 straight to pierce it...

I don't remember it being like that in the Beta, but appareantly, ever since EA UFC 3 launched, this was the case for block piercing.

Even after knowing about this, i still believe the current blocking system is ridiculous.

Ok now I'm confused. So there is a directional blocking system? If that's true then it's a HUGE change from the beta. If it’s implemented right, then obviously for the better!

There's a block breakdown mechanic. It's been in since the beta, but the amount of breakdown has been increased since then and animations were added recently to give people a better visual aide for what is going on. Go into practice and have the AI block. Then throw straight strikes and observe that it starts blocking forward more than to the side and hooks slip in easier. This applies to any round strike so roundhouse high kicks also count as round for instance.

Its been part of the game. Just the blocking animations were added in the last patch. 3 straight strikes and you will see your opponent lean his block forward, therefore throwing a round strike would break his block.

It wouldn't be easy if you had to block each punch individual. You've got the animations there for blocked straights and hooks.

Example i throw a 1-2 combo u block the 1-2 by holding RT.Then if i throw a hook to the head you'd have to let go of block and press it again to change the block to hooks. If you dont change your block then the hook lands/bleed through damage.

I dont see how that could be easier?
