Being rocked should feel more dangerous

Getting rocked in this game is just like "oh again, yea cool, I'll just block for 5 seconds". It is constant and repetitive.

We should have more rocked states in this game, with different fighter reactions. Stanky legs, sudden buckling of the knees at the moment of strike impact, devastating rocks where all senses seem lost despite still standing.

Some rocks should also be lasting longer. Irl fighters can be rocked for a minute at a time. Or with sustained assaults, entire rounds (Fabio Maldonado was rocked for 2.5 rounds vs Glover)

Maybe the answer is for strikes to penetrate the block easier on rocked opponents (yes I know you can get through block by wide/straight punch combos, but that typically just results in a knockdown that does nothing because you can't even jump on them)

The same goes for knockdowns, they should feel more dangerous, always.

The amount of "rocks" could also be reduced, to be honest. Make them less frequent, but more dangerous.

It did with the stamina tax but people complained so the Devs nerfed it

I just kneed a dude 4 times in the head while he was ducking down but I lost the fight via leg kick combo spam tko. Getting hit especially with a knee ducking down should be a death sentence especially after being kneed in the head 4 times.

The entire system of rocked/kocked down/tko/ko is really bad in this game IMO. I was just watching some old gameplay videos of UD3 and I really liked the way they handled this aspect of the game. I wish they could steal as much as they could from it. IDK what they could change in a patch tho.

Minor rock - 10 seconds wobbly, slight debuff to stats from 30 sec to 1 min

Flash knockdown - moderate debuff to stats anywhere from 1 min to 2 min

Hard knockdown - extreme debuff to stats anywhere from 1 min to 5 min

Debuff the stats when rocked so you can't fight as well for a short period after. The harder the rock the longer the period. Stats slowly recover if the fighter can keep it together.

Stats that could be debuffed:
- accuracy
- chin health
- move levels
- stamina?

Or more simply, put back the stamina tax from before but make it recover over time so you can recover if rocked early.
