Lunging is supposed to be balanced by being vulnerable to the side you're lunging to.

Blocking while lunging got rid of that completely.

There was never a reason to not block and lunge. No drawback to doing so.

It basically eliminated the risk completely.

I'm surprised this was never picked up on and exploited.

I'm glad we got it out before it completely ruined online play.

So i can't hold block and do the lunge at all or if i hold block and do lunge it does the lunge but my block drops?

Why in the world would i drop my hands to lunge back makes about as much sense as kicks and punches tied into same stat lol.

Is the lunge actually gonna work properly if its gonna be this hard to use?

Is it gonna work even as im just getting hit cause right now if i get hit it doesn't work i try 2 dash back and he just stands there.

Is the range going to always be same if im close to them it looks like it does regular lunge instead of advanced?

Maybe im over reacting but it seems like you just killed the lunge?

I hope this means the delay with lunges when chaining with strikes or grappling is gone now.

Otherwise this is nerfing the lunges without a counterweight.

Either nerf kick catch or increase kicking speed.

Can't block and lunge makes no sense. Was never a issue in UFC 2. Don't say it will ruin online play. Just don't understand. The way the game is now you can only block with L1 and left stick if you use the advance lunge L1 and right stick you can't. I feel having this way makes you have options.imo

After seeing the moving slips with the block bug, can this animation please stay? It looks wayyyyy more realistic than the default one. Can this be the default one? Fast forward to 1:26 and you'll see what I'm talking about. I thought it was a lunge while using block at first but it's not, the startup animation is a moving slip. Please take advantage of this it looks really good.
