Re: Max Hollaway at 155lbs

Max is injured and out of shape, he must be getting paid $$$ to step in like this.

They picked Holloway out of all the other Lighweights who are in camp(Lee, Poirier) because Holloway has a belt and that sells to casual fans. He’s fighting to become a 2 weight world champion, it was the biggest replacement outside of McGregor. I think Holloway could have some success on the feet similar to Michael Johnson but after the first take down it will be all Khabib.

In game I hope they don’t rate him too unfairly after this fight because he is a beast. Holloway vs Tony would be fun to play online.

Max doesn't have 1 punch KO power. He typically breaks guys down over a couple of rounds. Look how long it took to put away Aldo who was out on his feet.

That's what they said about bisping before he demolished Rockhold. he used to be called pillow fist. at the end of the day, timing can make the difference in damage taken. a good straight / uppercut to the chin and you're getting rocked regardless

Yh it could happen, but at the same time Max isn't really a ko striker either...he's more of a volume striker. Just don't see him being able to keep Khabib off him. But yh he can still ko him if he catches him at the right time coming in or something. But thats the only way he wins imo. Cuz once Khabib gets a hold of him, its gonna be a long night.

I just can't see it happening. It'll be interesting to see what max does because if he lets khabib back him up it's only going one way from there. Imo against khabib you have to stand in front of him and go for power otherwise he's just going to rush you to the cage and clinch.
