Re: Rocked stamina loss. . .

I would say this would be better :

a rock lasting a little longer than it is now , with 10% long term stamina loss .. it may or may not be enough, certainly would be a step in the right direction .

10% stamina is enough i believe, from 3 rocks you lose 30% of total stamina , that corroborated with strikes absorbed and thrown, should leave you at about 40% stamina left

Again, might not be ideal, but certainly a step in the right direction.

Re: Rocked stamina loss. . .

if strikes would cost more stamina loss, spammers would not exist anymore

if stamina loss affected power / speed / HMVT / FTWRK ... 200+ strikes / match would no longer exist

I think that short term stamina should be more affected maybe not long term. Depending on the fighter they should or shouldn't recover in between rounds.

Re: Rocked stamina loss. . .

I like stamina tax for getting rocked but it is too easy to get rocked for it to work correctly right now. If they can make the stunned states less common I would say the old stamina tax was perfect.

But how it is the stamina tax was rough because 1-2 ducking uppercuts or a random overhand land and you were basically out of the fight.

I agree with this for sure. I hate that by the time I break their block they can sway and knock me out. I would like to see my opponent have to spend some time recovering instead of magically being back to 100% 3 seconds after getting rocked.

I would also like to see a short term stamina adrenaline rush or something for the guy attacking. When you rock somebody and attack you end up at a disadvantage at the end of the health event. Let me throw strikes with infinite stamina until the health event ends. Or at a minimum keep my opponents stamina at zero and dont let it start to regen until the end of the health event. Make it mean something to rock someone.

What about the stamina gain when opponent rocked? That one can be pretty gnarly.

I hate that it is so stupid and the reason why counter punches during rocks are so vicious.
