If I flick the right joystick backwards, I want to sway backwards, not to the side

Now, it seems as if the sways are seen from the direction in which you're facing the opponent - I just flicked the right joystick backwards (right, in this case, as I was in the blue corner), but the game decided I should sway left, directly into Lawlers hookfest. Game over. I hate it when you have the right thing in your mind, but the game ****s it up. /rant

Have you tried classic camera?
