Blocking Strikes in MMA

Even though it's not realistic I think if EA went back to stamina not recovering while you are holding block it would completely change how people be blocked online.


I'm sure some other issue would pop up if that system came back.

The distance is biggest problem to me the blockings whatever i can live with it.I cant cope with the distance its just horrible i can play offline its okay but online suks.

I got esfl fight tomorrow if i lose im never playing online again lol so im most likely done.

Ya but it gets boring and just cuz most of them suk doesn't make there ugly style an less annoying.

John vs reis was a great fight the devs should base ufc 4 off that fight it had everything.

Reis was pretty much holding block most of the time but it didn't work well at all.John was also able to keep distance except when reis would trap him in the cage.

This fight really showed how far the game has to go especially in grappling.Im not hating on the game the fact i can even compare it to real ufc is amazing.UFC2 you just couldn't compare to real mma at all the games made huge step in the right direction.

Blocked strikes should drain more stamina.

As a counterbalance blocking should either slow down the user, have no more regenerative stamina, or break down quicker (1-2 strikes)

That way a 1 2 can open up the block for a hook.

Or if only 1 strike to open block- 1 straight to open the block for a hook.
