Played a match vs ai had to pause and thought something seemed off on my strike total. Turns out cancelled strikes still count towards your overall strike total is that normal?

Yeah I find this odd, I feel this contributes to inflated strike counts.

Obviously it seems intentional, but the real question is should they count as total strikes thrown.

I knew something was up with my strike count. Personally I don't think it should count as a strike since you haven't fully performed the strike.

LMAO I wonder if it also devalues the your score because it looks like you've landed far less and thrown far more.

I think because they are strike cancels and not feints. They same to temporarily burn same stamina as strike also.
