Takedown meter fills twice?

I feels. I usually get that when I slip a strike or when I rock someone and go for a takedown. I think it’s just to give the opposing player a fighting chance because this game seems to be very pro K.O. only.
I still love it. But grappling needs extreme work and focus.

I thought everyone knew about this glitch. This is why you will have 8/4 takedowns on the stat screen. Sometimes the meter will fill all the way and it will count as a takedown even though you didn’t technically get it. Sometimes it will fill twice and then you will get the takedown.

So pretty much takedowns are broken is what your saying.

Few nights ago i landed 6/2 takedowns. lol

There also a video of me playing panda_gaming and landed 8/4 takedowns in the 3rd round. lol

Why hasn’t this been patched yet? Do the devs know about this?
