Questions about EA UFC 3 CHAMPIONS edition permanent fighters

I have some questions for those who own EA UFC 3 Champions edition:

I selected GSP as my permanent champion edition fighter.

1) Why his stats in UT is so low and slots for striking so few (he is a good striker, he is a karateka)?

2) How to get more than one permanent champion edition fighter? or only one selection is allowed for all?

3) What is your choice of the permanent fighter and why?)

(4) Btw, what does "Competitive Grapple HUD" means in Custom fight settings (difference from regular Grapple HUD)?

Re: Questions about EA UFC 3 CHAMPIONS edition permanent fighters

1 = There are 5 types of fighters in UT. Strikers, Brawlers, Balanced, Grappler and Specialist. Each class has a different number of standup and ground move slots. GSP is classed as a grappler when u get him with the champions edition. Each class has different base stats but all the fighters with the same class have the same base stats.

2 = Only one allowed

3 = I chose GSP but ended up barely using him as i started striking rather than grappling.

4 = No idea

edit: 1 = u get extra move slots for the special edition fighters, ie the UFC200 fighters, anniversary fighters, bizarro fighters etc

might be more info than u wanted but thought it might help

Competitive Grappling HUD is for local multiplayer.

If you have the option turned on, the grapple hud will hide what transition you attempt when you fill the bar so you can't screenhack on the ground.

The HUD works like normal. Until you transition, wheen it just hides the bar filling up.

It's handy if you play local multiplayer regularly.

Yes, u r right
but i dont understand the pros/cons from hiding what transition i attempted AFTER i already begin the transition which WAS SHOWED in Grapple HUD before starting filling up transition meter?...

I chose GSP too because I thought everyone else was going to go striking (conor) and thought i'd wreck them on the ground but GSP was the worst choice looking back given current mechanics.
