Fighting like the fighter you picked

So I've been trying to actually fight like the fighter i picked and the games never been so fun.

I wouldn't advise trying this in ranked.

I just started with fighters last names and have been workin my way up the roster.

Its seriously alot of fun in quick fight cause your usually at a big stat disadvantage so they can put up a decent fight.

If your sick of ranked you should definitely try this.

Re: Fighting like the fighter you picked

This is the only way I play any mode.

It literally hurts my experience to do otherwise, plus you risk falling into patterns if your not constantly mixing it up and trying new things I find.

Doesn't mean I won't grapple with McGregor occasionally.
But I'm not throwing a kick heavy offense with Hendo any time soon either.

It's much, MUCH more rewarding than it ever was in 2, because of the increased attention on stats and accurate movesets.

For the most part that's how I play no matter what mode, with the exception of some grappling.

Big cee does and he's winning . Game plan is one thing ...execution is another . Was playing against a friend yesterday who was using GSP and didn't attempt a single take down . Exchanged pads and showed him what was up.

I do it but it’s almost impossible in ranked since you have to fight a certain way to win

Yh that's what you're supposed to do. If you fight like the fighter you're using does irl, it means you'll be playing toward their strengths, which is the way to go and will bring you more success. Just take note of perks, move lvls, ect. Stick to their real life gameplan for the most part, but don't shy away from mixing things up at times also.
