Lead overhand hook...

Was it intentionally made useless?

I literally never ever use this strike, it looks like a gorrilla is swinging his fist wide and out to the side for this strike...

Maybe this will be patched soon... but damn its bad

I like the lead overhand good for timing people coming with a jab and you can combo a 2, 5, 2 after the overhand, also works well timing people who just missed a rear leg kick more vulnerability damage cause it’s the same side

I personally think its absolutely hideous one of the ugliest punch animations in the game next to lunging body shots.

I wish they had the lead overhand from ufc 2 it was better

Anderson deserves it because that’s his actual lead overhand IRL (the stationary version) but it should be mostly unique to him.

Man o man I land this like crazy. You can throw it from practically in the nosebleed section of the arena and it can still smash opponents face.

Lead overhand might be worse than rear overhand imho.

I did 🤣

Seems people tend to drop their block early when they see it thrown.

Way easy to read after the first time its throwb.

Re: Lead overhand hook...

This punch is fine. It's main use is to be thrown from range when your opponent has their guard down or is going to throw their own strike.

The lead overhand covers massive distance and has a bit of super armor to power through any counter shots. It looks cumbersome, but it isn't even slower than the rear overhand.

Plus, there are other way to speed it up along with any other strike. Which I will reveal after my first ESFL title defense.
