Over hand, hook, hook, hook spam

This is infuriating. Jab, Hook, Hook, Hook, Hook.... if you try to duck you always get caught because they're right in your face and plant their feet. If you try to hit them back, you get flattened once again... The block goes out in 3 strikes, regardless of what they are as well...

I haven't tried out the new patch yet ...but I'm hearing block is broken all across the boards

Block is broken, combos are broken, head movement is broken, footwork is broken, jab is broken, stamina is broken. Basically whole game is broken. It was so much better pre-patch.

Just tried it and it seems as though ...blocking is kind of weak now .

Getting rocked left right and center out of nowhere tried the back sway ...

Both major and minor to counter with with a straight ...

Well maybe it's because I'm not used to it yet but seems like blocking is alot easier to break

Okay, I think I'm getting the hang of it. I still need to play more though. But yeah, old habits certainly don't help.

With the improvements in the patch the game's striking is waay better tbh. Idk how you guys are having so much issues with hook spam? Are they using forward moving hooks or what?

Dude it's the jab ...jab and straight it eats up your block and leaves you open to round strikes .

Even if you retreat they will just continue to hunt you down throwing strikes .

Option a) slip very risky
B) go for a take down panic wrestling - loss of stamina and easy to deny
C) back pedal stamina drain
D) plant and return fire and pray you catch them ( not very viable ) as your block is drained .
