This community is so overreacting. I’m having no problems at all after patch. It’s these spamming clowns who don’t know what to do now.

Option a) slip very risky
B) go for a take down panic wrestling - loss of stamina and easy to deny
C) back pedal stamina drain
D) plant and return fire and pray you catch them ( not very viable ) as your block is drained .

Hmm. I haven't played online yet since the patch cuz me and my buddies have been playing local vs a ton, so I can't say I have experience against it. But sounds like your best option in would be either option A and C. I'd go more with C unless I see a pattern develop, but the sucky part about the back pedal is it drains too much long term stamina. It can be pretty effective when used at the right times though, like when guys are pushing forward with strikes like that. But once your stuck you either gotta slip, clinch or panic td so they don't break through your block and score a kd.

You can go down in 10 sec with few hook and no chance to recover. Back lunge dont work anymore.

I lose 90% of my fight this way :

You have to use all the tools at your disposal and to know when to use them, too. The old habits certainly don't help. Do Quick Match fights and practice as long as you need to.

My friends I play with offline kinda play like this too, but they throw more hook spam than jabs and straights and i've been having alot off success evading them with fast retreat and slips, though the slips are kinda more risky. But online is probably a bit different idk. If they start breaking down my block I either slip or try to clinch up right after a blocked strike.
