I think there need to be new animations to go along with certain new mechanics. For example, if they introduce a takedown struggle mechanic, there would definitely need to be a new animation to show that struggle mechanic taking place.

In general, I really do care about the aesthetics as well personally. The animations really sell the action that is happening.

I really hope G&P gets some desperately needed attention.

Rocks on the ground and ref interactions for actual tko's on the ground would add a lot more realism. The majority of stoppages from strikes on the ground end with the ref waving it off for the tko, not the guy on bottom getting put out clean for the ko.

Not to mention the ko animation from strikes on the ground looks absolutely horrible and is still the same robotic, unrealistic one from EA UFC 1. No rocks on the ground is still a huge omission for the series and the g&p has never felt remotely satisfactory across all 3 games.

But really what changes do you guys think we will see made to the grappling ?

I think utilization of the left ,right ,up and down buttons for deeper grappling would be dope ...like wrist control ...triangles around legs ...for offence

Perhaps propping up your hand for defence ...
