But UFC 3 has a ton of stopping power in strikes. Maybe even too much. You can hardly trade punches anymore. Once someone lands something or starts a combo, you can't throw anything and better block.

That's not stopping power though, whoever gets their combo out first. it's actually opposite of how it used to be.

Re: What happened to stopping power?

Im still throwing out straights and getting rocked by uppcercuts after my punch lands.

Sometimes it feels like my guy gets frozen standing in front of someone if my combo didin't go off first.

Re: What happened to stopping power?

Lack of stopping power was one of the top complaints with UFC 2.

I think the stopping power logic in UFC 3 is about as good as it gets. Lots of effort put in there to make sure scenarios play out realistically but in a balanced way while still allowing for exchanges.

I'm really happy with it in its current state.

You guys did an amazing job with the game in general man. I think most of the people who post here love and deeply care about the game.

The core gameplay is so far above UFC2 in terms of depth and quality its incredible.

However, there are certain scenarios where the stopping power is just off. It doesn’t look or play out realistically and it’s very jarring.

Perhaps that’s a testament to how good it is most of the time.

This kinda crap happens to me every fight. This happened the whole fight until Cain KO’d me in the fourth. I wasn’t even mad. I just can’t play ranked anymore until I at least know you guys would consider looking at this. I have tons of footage I could provide. I just don’t wanna waste my time if you guys don’t feel there’s even a possibility for improvement in this area.
