NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

literally majority of the people who are still playing ufc 2 are only sticking with that game because the parry is the only thing they are good at. If they can't guess what your gonna throw then freeze you they don't want to play. Parries are trash and a horrible idea for ufc 3.

Re: Parries: Should They Return?

They aren't wrong about what parries mean universally in fighters. I come from a fightimg game background and the way parries have always worked in game is you get frame advantage to punish your opponent. They are very risky and hard to time but reap big rewards if you can read your opponent. In UFC 2 the parries did not have much risk and were used offensively(sound familiar? Head movement before the patch). Currently head movement is risky but yields high rewards as it should. Now if I'm going to use it successfully I have to predict my opponent to capitalize off of it.

Movement is where I would go next for patching. Bc currently there really isn't any repercussion for throwing all head strikes against a block. People do not have to think about mixing strikes unless you time headmovemet correctly. But head movement is risky so the player will continue to pummel your head without thought.

Re: Parries: Should They Return?

A big No from me,EA has yet to even come close to implementing them properly and they've been in every single MMA game they've made until this one. You think there's a lot of complaining now?? 🤣🤣🤣 just wait and see what this board looks like after parries are reinstated. Personally I think it would be a huge step backwards, especially when there's areas that need work and attention MUCH more than adding a potentially game breaking feature back into the game, especially when it took years to remove it. That's like being treated for cancer and the doc says one day "congrats, you're now cancer free" and a few months down the road you ask your doc if he can expose you to radiation to get your cancer back.

They dont have to be that way in the game tho

That’s the point of the poll. I just want them as a way to prevent bleed through or block breaking.

But NO free counters
