No it literally is his job to hype fights. Hyping fights is a part if his job as it generates interest in the sport, interest from fans and helps generate interest in himself.

It’s not about being a dick rider. But he is paid by the UFC and directed about things he can/ cant talk about.

It works that way for all announcers.
