Ufc 226 Live Event

Now that we are live for Ufc 226 I’d just like to start a thread to discuss what everyone thinks.

What fighter are you choosing to use? Why?

How do you feel about them splitting the player base with two division?

How does the gameplay feel?

Why don’t we have a ping meter for live events?

Should we be matched against similar skill like ranked? Say I have 10 wins I only match up to 20 to 10 win players.As it stands now it’s luck of the draw. Or is that a bad idea considering long match up times?

Just a few questions to get us started. Feel free to expand!

I chose Dana White because I liked his jab better than Tito. Plus I like being announced as the boss. I thought about Tito because of the power takedowns, but his straight punches are so short.

I also chose lhw over hw because I wanted a little faster gameplay with a little more room for error.

As for splitting the player base... it seems to take awhile to find fights.

I like the no opponent hud of the live events and feel it should be standard for all ranked matches. As for how the live event plays I prefer the different styles of play that can be established based on what fighter the player is using in ranked.

I think live events should be left open because it already takes too long to find a fight in live events. ( hopefully this is just me starting right when the event became available)

I wonder if the split playerbase is a test?
I hope so.

If people can find games at both LHW/HW reliably it shines a positive light on a split playerbase.

Which opens the door to Sim mode becoming viable, maybe.

I just want it offline, but theres 5'000'000 higher chance of it happening if it can be incorporated into online too.

Is the pick and play still up? I haven't played Stiopic v DC yet on there (CBF'd grinding DC to a 4th round TKO as Stiopic)

Also, am I the only one who wants a "Play and Pick" Option.
Instead of choosing, then playing your result.
You just play the fight naturally, and the finish/result you get becomes your pick.

Am the only one who thinks that'd be freaking awesome??
