Offline Realistic Decision idea

So a few off us have gone back and forth on how to have fights go to a decision more often and I had an idea I wanted to float, especially for offline.

A faster accelerated clock.

What if we sped it up just a tad bit more than it already is? Then we could retain the damage system, the stamina system but with less time to operate, more decisions should be had while still making every moment engaged in the fight feel dangerous.

Just an idea, curious for feedback. Keep in mind, I'm talking about offline specifically. Maybe have an "advanced acceleration" option in addition to he accelerated and normal options we have now.

Don't like it. If anything make it so real time clock issues capable of going to more decisions.

I can't emphasis this enough. This is an offline idea. If you are thinking about how this works online, please stop.

Second, with the implementation of sliders, what is so crazy about having a slider for the clock?

If you've grown to accept 3.20 as someone said above, why wouldn't someone potentially be able to get the same enjoyment out of 2:30?

Especially if you're fights and offline universe fights have a more realistic outcome of decisions while not feeling like a game of patty cake (when you turn the damage down) or like you're fighting in Mexico (turning the stamina up forcing guys to look like Velasquez at UFC 188)?

That's a much more complicated issue.

Plenty of other sports don't even attempt to mimic a realistic clock. They either default to a lesser time to begin with or they use an accelerated clock like FIFA and UFC.

Just to clarify, I do know that there is already an accelerated clock. I'm more so talking about having a slider for the clock that we could have offline.

I dont hate the idea. Every other sports game has multiple clock options (5/10/20 etc.) so no reason why UFC cant.

It's also something that would be nice for custom events.

That way I can do an 11 fight card as part of my universe, but it doesn't take 2 hours to complete.

I've got my own dork reasons for really, really wanting this feature.
