What is being done about back flat position?

Please tell me this position is getting fixed. It’s absolutely cheese. There is no way it should be a death sentence against anyone good.

When I saw the thread title, I thought you'd be asking for a buff.

It's not even that good of a position anymore ever since the transition speeds were sped up.

What are you talking about? It's hard to get to and it's relatively easy to get out of. (unlike the crucifix, which is an actual death sentence)

Besides, it's arguably the single most dominant position one can achieve on the ground in real life. Yet you want to be cozy like non-postured up half guard or something?

You mean to tell me punches coming in faster than you can transition with only one transition direction is balanced? We are talking about postured back mount flat bottom to clarify.

See I think the crucifix is easy to get out of. They are no where close to the same thing. Like absolutely nothing alike. Two transition directions that you can rock to speed up. Not to mention you can bump an incoming strike to get you to side control again.

As where back flat postured bottom you have to get the transition on the first attempt. Or you are screwed. Literally no chance of escaping in between punches. There only one way to transistion. No arm trap.

I think the point is that if you're allowing yourself to get in that position then you've already made a series of bad decisions and maneuvers that aren't the games fault.

Only one transition direction? Can you not roll to mount or HG, when the opponent is postured up?

My memmory says "yes", but I'm not sure.
