career rivals and champs

ok so with this new patch I want to try career mode. Ive played offline primarily vs AI or my brother. One of the things that turned me off originally was the static rivals the same every playthrough.

I know they patched in new career rivals but are they more dynamic now than the predetermined ones that they had on release? Are there a lot more choices?

Also is the champ the same or randomly different every playthrough? Appreciate responses - thanks

Some of the champions are different from the get go, e.g. Rumble Johnson in LHW, Valentina in BW, etc. However, my first rival as a Lightweight was once again Diakiese, who has been the first rival in this division forever I think.

If they add ai taunts and dynamic career champs that aren't static throughout the whole career I would be content.

I think the rivals are chosen randomly and you just were unlucky enough to get the same one you got before. I did a second women's strawweight run and had completely different rivals compared to the first time.

My second rival is Pettis, was he the original second rival?

Never done a career at lightweight, so I'm afraid I don't know.

Ah. This is my first one there as well. Well I hope you're right and if I happen to do another one at LW, it's not Diakiese again.
