The only thing that i've noticed, is when you minor lunge backwards sometimes strikes that clearly miss will do damage to your block.

I'm not sure, but I think straights lose stopping power at very close range.

They definitely seem to lose that power which is a good thing. .

Conversely though, I've seen spinning head kicks from damn near in-the-pocket somehow do massive damage even though 'in real life' there'd be no way to get any power/extension on such a strike.

So def. a few gremlins to still workout in the hit detection engine.

What really was throwing me off were perfect-distance/perfect angle/perfect vulnerability type of strikes that essentially didn't do any damage, though I think they registered as a strike. I even remember a couple of them giving a 'minor rumble' to my controller .... but no appreciable damage or hit reaction (even though several of these strikes should have been insta knockdowns, or at least rocks).

I haven't played since Saturday and am hoping to give UFC 3 a spin tonight...will let you know if I notice any more of these and will try to bring some video evidence to the table if so But based on what I've experienced....and more importantly the others on this forum....I def. feel that something is off with hit detection and hope it's analyzed at a deep level by GPD or others to see if there are any bugs that can be ironed out without having to dedicate a lot of resources.

Hoping for the best but I'll drink in case of the worst!
