Kind of a side note, has anyone actually faced someone that's taken advantage of the new ways to execute the takedown? I haven't came across one player using em yet.

Check my channel. I use the undeniable TDs a lot with Khabib and Cruz.

Romero is the only person I've seen use them . I wish he'd do a dedicated video for it . But so much of it depends on the opponents timing I guess .

That's insane. That's what I don't like about all this. For one, it's not info the vast majority of players are going to find. Secondly, it's just an extra step and extra bit of timing most players just aren't going to perfect.

All we need are common sense take down openings. UD3 did this almost perfectly, and EA MMA was too bad. But in this game, so many should-be openings irl are ignored and some type of struggle mechanic is needed to further pursue take downs now too. But if someone is head hunting with combos like crazy, a basic takedown attempt should do the trick. It's ok if evading a strike 1st just makes it easier, but it shouldn't take a whole lot to get basic takedowns either with the right fighters.

Bro I completely agree ...for grapplers it should be possible but not to easy . Romero XVII wrestles in real life so I guess this kind of helps him . Even Good grappler who's another good grappler ...him I'm not so sure he even hits the Undeniable takedown constantly .

Sometimes I wonder if BigCee still plays this game nobody talks about him anymore I don't play online so I don't know if he's on the leaderboards .

For guys like khabib , blades and Cormier the Undeniable takedown should be easier to pull off . But in life grappling is somewhat harder than striking .

A simple idea would be instead of ducking the hook and then pressing the double leg buttons ...wouldn't it be better to just shoot once your opponent does a hook combo ...of course distance should be considered too , and boom undeniable takedown .
