Great! I thought that would be too good to be true. For me this is the greatest thing they could have done, I don’t pressure(because it bores me, throwing150 strikes per round is stupid), I hang back and counter and look for whiffs for takedowns and clinch attempts, some people are so good at not giving any opportunity’s for undeniable takedowns and denying everything else, I feel I should be able to punish much better if someone wants to pressure me more than I like. Yeah, I just don't see how anyone thought that would be a good idea. Making the denial window shorter seems like the obvious choice.
People have stuffed takedowns while rocked before, it shouldn't be impossible, just more difficult. One of those decisions where you scratch your head at, like the power rating not being seperate for punches and kicks.

Don't get rocked, protect yourself, don't show boat. You're obviously striking focused when you play, if a player works for the health event and gets a take down on you. They deserve the reward for their hard work. Learn to defend yourself on the ground. It's a fine idea.

Who said anything about showboating? I personally don't taunt. Getting rocked in EA UFC 3 is a very common occurence for both players, an automatic takedown after you stun someone no matter what fighter you're using, or fighting against is an absurd idea, unrealistic idea. Now the window being shorter to deny, i'm 100% down for.
